Characteristic and Application Fields |
Extraction may be defined as the decomposition of mixtures into the individual
constituents by means of suitable solvents, traditionally low-boiling organic
substances, such as methanol, ethanol, dichloromethane, etc. However, because
some of these substances are toxic are now being made to avoid their use. An
alternative to these solvents is provided by Supercritical CO2. This extraction
method is based on the principle that substances dissolve at a much higher rate
in supercritical CO2 than would normally be expected at a given vapor pressure.
CO2 has proven especially well suited for the extraction of natural substances.
The low critical temperature of 31℃ allows particularly gentle handling of
natural substances. Moreover, CO2 is not only readily available, but may also
be obtained at relatively low prices.

|
| Operate Flow |
Liquid CO2 flows collecting vessel (1) to pump(2),which compresses it to the
requires extraction pressure and transfers it to heat exchanger(3), where it is
heated to the extraction temperature and transferred to the extraction vessel
or column (4). The substances to be extracted are dissolved in the CO2 as they
pass through the extraction vessel or column (4). The CO2, laden with the
dissolved substances is then fed to separator (5). By adjusting the pressure
and/or the temperature, the dissolving power of the CO2 in the separator (5) is
reduce, thus causing the extracts to be precipitated. This may take place in
several stages, thereby allowing extract fractions of different qualities to be
obtained. The gaseous CO2 from the separator is liquefied in a refrigerated
condenser (6) and collected in collecting vessel (1). The use of several
extraction vessels for the extraction of substances in the solid state permits
virtually semi-continuous operation.

Molecular
Distillation Technology |

Characteristic and Application Fields |
Molecular distillation is a kind of special high vacuum distillation. Some
organic compounds with high boiling point can not be distilled in conventional
conditions because thermal decomposition and/or polymerization occurs
temperatures below their boiling points. Molecular distillation is operated at
high vacuum condition (bellow 1 Pa), in which the materials are distilled at
temperature below their boiling point and heated in a very short time
(generally tens of seconds). Hence some easily oxidized and heat-sensitive
organic organic compounds with high boiling point are assured not to be
deteriorated in molecular distillation due to oxidization, polymerization and
decomposition. So it is a very suitable technique for separation of
multiple-component organic materials, the refinement of oil and fat, the
concentration of Vitamin and the decolorization of final products. Guangzhou
Masson new separation technology company Ltd is specialized in manufacturing
the laboratory and industry Molecular distillation equipment for about 30 years
and welcome the clients for purchasing the equipments. Also we provide this
advanced technique to the clients for their equipment refreshment and creating
more economy benefit.

| Operate Flow |
|
As the operating process shows, the raw material is fed into the
preheater (L), and heated, than pumped into the distilling column(2) by pump(P1)
for degasification, All of that, it is transmitted by pump(p2) into distilling
column (3) for the first stage separation, Then the distillate M is
dischanged directly by pump (p3) and the residue is discharfed by pump
(p4) into the distilling column(4),for the second stage separation. at last,
the distillate (M2) is purped out by P3 whle the residue (M3) by P5.

| Equipment Characteristic |
-
The
operation pressure can be less than 1 Pa, then the evapourating temperature can
be much decreased, ideal for separating materials with high-boiling point and
thermal decompositine substances ;
-
A piece of thin film will be formed on the surface of the raw materials
during evapouration, which increase the efficiency of heating and
evapouring;
-
It can prevent the materials from transmating when heated for a long time
because the material is transmit stage by stage swiftly;
-
the evapourated condences rapidly, thus the products decomposition.
